Questions owners ask
Only need one page? See static websitesWhy does this cost more than a static page?
A database needs a schema, backups and validation on the server. There is an application to keep updated and data you are now responsible for. The price reflects that work, not the page count.
Can I take the data somewhere else?
Yes. You get a database export and the source files at handover, in formats you can open without us.
Will the site break if nobody updates it?
The public pages keep working. The dynamic parts depend on the PHP version your host runs, and hosts eventually switch old versions off. That is why the monthly care pass exists, and why we tell you when to check.
How long does a full website take?
Two to four weeks for most small projects, counted from the day content and logins are ready.
What is it built with?
Public pages are generated as static HTML, so they stay fast for search. Forms and the admin area run on CodeIgniter 4 with a MySQL database on the same hosting account.
