Clothing boutique, online

A catalogue built from a spreadsheet, an order form that writes to a database, and stock counts the owner updates from a browser.

A boutique selling through Instagram reaches the point where the same question is typed forty times a day: is this still available in medium.

What the build includes

Products are maintained in a spreadsheet the owner already uses, and the site builds from that export. No new system to learn, and no double entry between the spreadsheet and the site.

Each product page carries the size chart and the care notes, because those two things generate the most messages. The order form checks stock before it accepts a request, so nobody gets a confirmation for an item that sold yesterday.

Stock control

The admin view has one job: mark an item out of stock, or put it back. Anything more elaborate gets abandoned in the first busy week, so it stays one list with two buttons per row.
